“I’d had more than my fair share of near-death experiences; it wasn’t something you ever really got used to. It seemed oddly inevitable, though, facing death again. Like I really was marked for disaster. I’d escaped time and time again, but it kept coming back for me.”
– Bella Swan | Twilight 4 (Breaking Dawn)
You might not be a fan of Bella, or that whole vampire series, but please read to the end to know why I quoted that one. OK? No negativity please! :D
You might be saying the same lines as of the moment. You feel like all those sufferings was never ending, like they’re too excited to see you stressed and exhausted. You might be thinking of all the possible ways to end your suffering as soon as possible. You might be looking at all the negative things in life and all the pain that you’re dealing right now.
Yes, pain demands to be suffered, and we can’t escape that. I won’t give you any antidote to all those hurtful feelings, but I can only give you more encouragement each day. Let’s take a look at Bella’s fictional life so that we could see how to deal with the never-ending disaster she had faced.
Remember the time when she knew that Edward was a vampire? I can only imagine the fear and the threat that she felt. In real life, you might be frightened by the revelations that you’re knowing each and every day. maybe you just knew that your partner was cheating, that you were terminally ill, or that your finances are already on the rocks.
In those situations, I am encouraging you to look at the brighter side of life. I know it’s pretty hard, but it’s worth a try. Just imagine how Bella’s love for Edward made her forget all the fear that she had. Just imagine yourself being tested to be stronger and fiercer in life. You can do it! You can overcome it! All you need to do is to stand on your courage and face the world with confidence.
It will be hard, I know. But it will be worth it.
You’re not marked for disaster. You’re prepared to be the best!
Have a great Monday, and the best week ahead! :)
