Writing 201: Journey

On the menu today: Journeys, limericks, and alliteration.

Journey

Stepped on a stone, caught in a storm;
Actually don’t know how to follow the norm.
Should I do what I want?
Or listen to their rant?
I’ll just sing my favorite song.

I wish I could sleep soundly in a starry night.
Forget all those tragedies with all my might.
Can I flee from their glances?
Must I grab that second chance?
I’ll just call my courageous knight.

It’s never easy to live my life.
No matter how hard you’ve got to try.
All those choices.
All those noises.
I think you’d rather die.

Love,
Huntress
