Writer’s (and Reader’s) Community

“Time is free, but it is priceless. You can’t own it, but you can use it. You can’t keep it, but you can spend it. Once you’ve lost it, you can never get it back.” — Harvey Mackey

That quote reminded me of the girls I have met just these past days. Being with these amazing and talented people is such a great way to spend a weekend and make great memories.

These girls were from an online site for published and aspiring writers named Booklat. This is a simpler version of the wide-known Wattpad, actually, where users can use the homepage as their chatbox.

So after a year of chatting virtually, I was able to see two of my buddies there. One was from Denmark named Russ, though I don’t know if that’s her real name, while the other was Geizel from Davao.

I also had the oppotunity to get some wonderful writing tips from Jen. She’s so sweet and her thoughts are inspiring and challenging. I am currently reading one of her Wattpad novels, and I love it so much.

Well, I really hope I’ll get to see more writer’s in the near future, now that MIBF is just a month away. :)
