The Daily Post: Back of the Queue

Is there something you’ve always wanted to do, but never got around to starting (an activity, a hobby, or anything else, really)? Tell us about it — and tell us about what’s keeping you from doing it.

I’ve always wanted to travel around the world. However, some darn reasons keeps me from doing it.

First: Legal Documents

It’s pretty complicated for me to request for my passport since my birth certificate has issues. My middle name was misspelled, and it still has to be fixed first before creating any other legal documents. It would be a problem in the long run, as my relatives told me so.

Second: Final Plan

I always wanted to visit many places. Hong Kong, Singapore, England, Russia, Las Vegas, New York, Africa, and many many more. Due to this, I can’t finalize my itinerary. I feel like if I’d be given the chance to travel right now, I won’t have an exact destination to tell you.

I can’t decide if I’ll be traveling solo, or with someone else.

And most importantly, I can’t finalize when to start my travels. :D

Last Impediment: Budget

With my low income and high expenses, I just can’t allocate some funds for an overseas travel. However, I already started saving for the possibility of hoping to a plane and exploring the beauty of the world.

On the other hand, I would like to travel around our country first before pursuing my international dreams. Hah!

That’s all follks!
Thanks for visiting Being a Huntres!

Love,
Huntress

  1. I live in NY. Trust me… you aren’t missing much. We are trying to move out of here, but because the taxes are so high, we aren’t able to save. We’re stuck. Where are you from? A visit to Australia is on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Thanks for your comment, Flippyzipflop! I’m currently residing in Philippines. As I’ve read some blogs about NY, my interest and desire to visit the place deepens. It might be true that I’m not missing much, but it’s the travel that counts.

On the other hand, I’m really sorry about your current situation. Being stuck at a place that doesn’t suit you is pretty annoying and depressing. I hope you’ll be able to find financing solutions in order to pursue your great move as soon as possible. I’ll be looking forward to reading your update about your journey.

Anyway, Australia is also on my list! I wish you’ll be able to schedule your Australian tour soon. Just don’t forget some photos with those lovely kangaroos. :D

Lastly, thanks for visiting my blog! I hope you enjoyed my post! ^_^

      1. I’ll be sure to keep you up to date, but it doesn’t look like we’re getting out of here any time soon… I can hardly wait to get a pic of me with a kangaroo!! It’s been a dream of mine (visiting Australia) since I was a child. And I LOVED your post!!
